Lance received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and his MBA from The George Washington University. He began his career as a practicing CPA with Price Waterhouse in the Washington DC office. Upon leaving the accounting industry, Lance held several management positions in the commercial real estate field in brokerage and property management. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Maryland, DC and Virginia. He co-founded and is a Partner with Palm Facility Services, Commercial Real Estate Advisors, Cathedral Realty, Great Finds Realty and Commutyble. Palm Facility Services is a provider of a variety of operational support services (ie. janitorial, landscaping, engineering support, carpet/hard surface floor maintenance, construction cleaning and special event staffing) to commercial and industrial real estate owners in the Washington DC metropolitan area (Washington DC, Suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia). Commercial Real Estate Advisors provides property management, brokerage and consulting services to small portfolio commercial property owners. Cathedral Realty is a residential brokerage company licensed in DC, Maryland and Virginia. Great Finds Realty redevelops single family residential properties in DC, Maryland and Florida. Commutyble is a tech start up in the parking garage management industry.
Mr. Ford has served on the Board of the Building Service Contractors Association International and has been recognized for his presentations on financial management and operations management. He also serves on the Board for BB&T (now Truist) DC Market and Don Bosco Cristo Rey. He is also a member of Vistage, Leadership Greater Washington and is a charter member of the Washington DC Legatus chapter.
Lance is married to his wife Jeri for 36 years and has 3 children (Christopher – in Denver working with a Cannabis Candy start up; Cameron – in LA working as an advertising executive; and Connor – in LA working in movie production). He enjoys reading, travel, pickleball and golf.
