Chris Penny joined CAVA in 2015 as Chief Operating Officer of CAVA Foods, the company’s consumer packaged goods and manufacturing business. He was named Chief Manufacturing Officer in 2018, overseeing the company’s consumer packaged goods and manufacturing business. Following CAVA’s acquisition of Zoe’s Kitchen, Chris also led the company’s supply chain for four years, guiding the integration and expansion efforts as the brand scaled nationally. Prior to CAVA, Chris spent six years as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy at Transaction Network Services. From 1998 to 2007, he was Managing Director in Technology Research for Friedman Billings Ramsey. Earlier in his career, Chris served for six years in the U.S. Navy Submarine Force. He holds a B.A. in Computers from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
