Tom Lewis, Development Ombudsman, Montgomery County Maryland.

Tom was appointed by County Executive Marc Elrich as Development Ombudsman for the County in December and confirmed by the County Council December 15, 2021. Although Tom’s role is to assist in large redevelopment efforts county-wide, his initial focus for the County is on the redevelopment of the White Flint/North Bethesda area as a mixed use, life science development anchored by a higher education research component that will complement and grow the nationally recognized life science cluster in Montgomery County.
